Configuring Opayo Server by Elavon Module for osCommerce 2.2
This manual explains how to configure the Opayo Server by Elavon payment module for osCommerce 2.2. Before proceeding, make sure you have completed the installation using either the Installer or the ZIP File method.
1. Install the Module (If Required)
- Log in to the admin area of your osCommerce website.
- Navigate to Modules → Payment.
- If the module was installed via ZIP File, click Opayo Server by Elavon and then click Install Module.
- If the module was installed via the Installer, this step is completed automatically.
2. Request a Vendor Login Name
1. If you do not yet have a vendor login name, click the Visit Elavon Website link.
2. Fill in all required fields on the Elavon request form.
3. Click Submit Your Request.
4. Wait for confirmation and a call from an Elavon payment specialist.
5. After your account is created, you will receive an email containing your vendor login name.
3. Open Module Settings
1. Return to the admin area.
2. Click Edit next to the Opayo Server by Elavon module.
4. Configure Payment and Connection Settings
1. Enable the module to accept Opayo Server payments.
2. Enter your vendor login name to connect to the payment gateway.
3. Select the API version:
- API 3
- API 4 (required for 3DS version 2 / SCA)
4. Select the transaction processing method:
- Authenticate – checks the credit card
- Deferred – blocks a small amount on the card
- Payment – processes the full payment immediately
5. Ensure the corresponding order status is set based on the selected transaction method. When the order status is later updated and only a partial amount was blocked, the system will automatically process the whole payment.
6. Set the order status for payments made using this module.
7. Enable the option to include transaction information in the selected order status.
8. If required, select a payment zone to restrict availability to specific regions.
9. Choose whether to perform transactions on the production or testing server.
10. Enable or disable SSL certificate verification for the transaction server.
11. If needed, configure a proxy server using the format host:port
(for example: 123.45.67.89:8080 or proxy.example.com:8080).
12. Enter a debug email address to receive details of invalid transactions. 13. Set the sort order to control how this payment method is displayed
(lower values are displayed first).
