Exporting and Importing Themes

This manual explains how to export an existing theme and how to import a theme into your osCommerce system.

1) Access the Theme Management Section

1. Access the admin area of your website.
2. Click on Design and CMS.
3. Open the Themes tab.
4. Locate the required theme in the list.

2) Exporting a Theme

1. Within the selected theme, click on the Backups button.

2. Click Export to generate and download the theme backup file.

3) Importing a Theme

1. Click on the Add Theme button.
2. A pop-up window will appear with two import options:

a) Importing as an Empty Theme

• Select the Empty Theme radio button.
• Click Import to upload the existing backup (as shown in the screenshot in your documentation).

b) Uploading a Theme from Your Computer

• Select the Upload from computer radio button.
• Click to upload the theme ZIP file from your local device.

3. Wait for the import process to complete.

Your theme export or import is now successfully completed. You may proceed with further design or customization.
