Managing Comment Templates

This manual explains how to create and configure reusable comment templates for orders and subscriptions in your system.

1) Accessing Comment Templates
- Log in to the admin area of your website.
- Go to Settings → Orders Status → Comment templates.
2) Using the Comment Templates List
Under this tab, you can view all existing comment templates.
- Use the Quick search field to find templates by name.
- Templates can be edited or managed as needed.
3) Creating a New Comment Template
- Click the Create new comment template button.
- Configure the available settings:
- Status - Set the template to Active or Not active.
- Visibility on pages - Choose whether the template should appear on Orders and/or Subscriptions pages.
- Hide for sales channel(s) - Select sales channels where the template should NOT be displayed.
- Show for manager groups - Choose which manager (admin user) groups can see the template.
- Don't show for admin - Select individual managers (admin users) who should NOT see the template.
- Name - Enter the name of the comment template.
- Comment text - Create the comment text. You can include dynamic keys, such as customer name or store name.
4) Using Comment Templates
Once created and active, templates will appear on the Orders and/or Subscriptions pages, depending on your visibility settings.
They can be selected and applied when adding comments to an order or subscription.
Your comment templates are now configured and ready for use. You can return to this tab at any time to add, edit, or deactivate templates.
