This manual explains how to install, configure, and manage the Competitors module in your osCommerce store to collect and analyze competitor data efficiently.

1) Install the Competitors Module
- Access the admin area of your website.
- Move to the App Shop → Store tabs.
- Find the Competitors module using the Quick search feature.
- Click Install to add the module to your website.
2) Access Competitor Management
- After installation, navigate to Products/Catalogue → Competitors tabs.
- Here you can view and manage competitor data presented in a table with the following columns:
- Competitor’s Name
- Competitor’s Site
- Competitor’s Currency
3) Manage Competitor Records
- To add, edit, or delete competitor records, click the corresponding buttons on the page.
- Use the Quick search field to easily find competitors by name.
4) Add or Edit a Competitor
- Click New Competitor to add a new record, or click Edit next to an existing competitor.
- On the Edit Competitor page, you can:
- Enter or change the Competitor’s Name.
- Specify the Competitor’s Website.
- Select the Competitor’s Currency from the drop-down list.
- Apply the Competitor’s Price Mask if needed.
After setting up the module, you can continue collecting and analyzing competitor data to monitor pricing strategies and improve your store’s competitiveness.
