Managing Countries

This manual explains how to manage country settings in your system.

1) Accessing Countries Settings

  1. Log in to the admin area of your website.
  2. Go to SettingsLocationsCountries.

2) Available Actions

Under the Countries tab, you can perform the following actions:

  • Insert a new country
  • Edit an existing country
  • Delete a country

Use the Quick search field to search for countries by name.

3) Working with Multiple Countries

While selecting the required countries on the listing page, it is possible to:

  • Enable or Disable selected
  • Delete selected

On the country listing page, you can select one or multiple countries:

  • To select all countries, check the box in the top-left corner of the table.
  • To select individual countries, check the boxes next to their names.

4) Adding or Editing a Country

Click Insert to add a new country or Edit next to an existing one.

  • Country name - Enter the full country name.
  • ISO code (2 letters) - Two-letter country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2).
  • ISO code (3 letters) - Three-letter country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-3).
  • Address format - Select the address format used in this country.
  • Sort order - Defines the position in dropdown lists.
  • VAT code prefix - Prefix used in VAT numbers if required.
  • VAT code type - Choose numeric, alphanumeric, or alphabetical.
  • Number of VAT code characters - Define the length of VAT code.
  • Latitude / Longitude / Zoom - Coordinates for map display.
  • Dialing prefix - Country telephone calling code.
  • Currency - Select the currency used in the country.
  • Enable/Disable - Activate or deactivate the country.

Once you configure your country settings, the changes will apply across all relevant site components.
