Managing Cross Sell Type

This manual explains how to configure and manage cross sell types in your osCommerce store to enhance product marketing and recommendation options.

The manual below provides step-by-step instructions.

1) Access the Cross Sell Type Settings

1. Log in to the admin area of your website.
2. Navigate to Settings → Cross Sell Type tabs.

2) Manage Existing Cross Sell Types

Under this tab, you can perform the following actions:

• Edit an existing cross sell type.
• Delete a cross sell type.
• Insert new cross sell type.

Use the Quick search feature to find cross sell types by name.

3) Add or Edit a Cross Sell Type

1. Click Insert to create a new cross sell type, or Edit to modify an existing one.
2. In the form that opens, you can:
   • Set the Cross Sell Type Code.
   • Set the Cross Sell Type Name.

4) View Cross Sell Types at Product Level

Once a new cross sell type is created (test), it becomes available at the Product level.

You can now see it—along with the default cross sell types (Upsell, Xsell, Give-away, Popularity)—under:

• Products/Catalogue → Products (Brands/Categories) tabs.
• Marketing tab.

The new cross sell type has been successfully configured.

It is now available for use across your product listings and marketing settings.
