Managing Freeze Stock

Freeze current stock levels to run accurate stocktakes, then review and manage item quantities.

1) Install the module

1. Sign in to your website’s Admin area.
2. Go to App Shop → Store.
3. Use Quick search to find Freeze Stock.
4. Click Install.

2) Freeze stock for a stocktake

1. Go to Reports → Freeze stock.
2. Click Freeze stock now.

3) Review the frozen stock table

After freezing, a table is available with the following columns:

• Product name and model
• Total product quantity
• Allocated product quantity
• Available stock quantity

4) Update stock or manage allocations

• Use the Actions column and click the relevant buttons to:
  • Update stock
  • Manage allocated products

5) Find products quickly

• Use Quick search to find products by name.

6) Adjust how many items you see per page

• Use the items per page drop-down to select how many products are displayed.

7) Unfreeze stock when finished

1. Go to Reports → Freeze stock (if you navigated away).
2. Click Unfreeze now.
