Managing Taxes

This manual explains how to set up and manage tax zones, tax classes, and tax rates.

Watch the video for a brief overview of this functionality.

The manual below explains everything step by step.


1) Managing Tax Zones

1.1. Log in to the admin area of your website.

1.2. Go to Settings → Taxes → Tax Zones.

1.3. Here you can:

  • View the existing tax zones.
  • Click on a tax zone to edit or delete it using the corresponding buttons.
  • Click the New Tax Zone button to insert a new tax zone.


While inserting/editing a tax zone, you can insert/update the required fields.

1.4. When inserting or editing a tax zone, fill in the required fields.


Also click on the required folder.

1.5. Click on the required folder (zone group) to view its contents.

Insert the required countries for the tax zone.

1.6. Add countries to the tax zone by selecting the required countries.

2) Managing Tax Classes

2.1. Go to the Tax Classes tab.

2.2. Here you can:

  • View the list of existing tax classes.
  • Click on a tax class to edit or delete it.
  • Click New Tax Class to create a new one.


While inserting/editing a tax class, you can insert/update the required fields.

2.3. When inserting or editing a tax class, update the required fields and save your changes.


3) Managing Tax Rates

3.1. Go to the Tax Rates tab.

3.2. Here you can:

  • View the existing tax rates.
  • Click on a tax rate to edit or delete it.
  • Click New Tax Rate to insert a new one.


3.3. When inserting or editing a tax rate, fill in the required fields, such as:

  • Tax Class Title
  • Zone
  • Tax Rate
  • Description (optional)
  • Priority
  • Min order total
  • Max order total
  • Company
  • Company VAT-ID
  • Address

3.4. Save your changes.
