Setting Mail Sending via SMTP

1) Access the E-mail Options Section

2. Navigate to Settings → Configuration → E-mail Options.

2) Update SMTP Settings

Update the configuration values on this page according to the highlighted parameters provided in your system.

These values typically include:

• E-mail Transport Method
• SMTP Mailer
• SMTP Host
• SMTP Port
• SMTP Username
• SMTP Password
• SMTP Encryption Method (if applicable)

3) Special Note for Gmail Users

If you are using a gmail.com mailbox, you must use a Google App Password instead of your regular account password.
