Testing Opayo by Elavon Module for osCommerce 2.3 on Front End

This manual explains how to test the Opayo by Elavon payment module on the front end of an osCommerce 2.3 website to ensure that payments are processed correctly during checkout.

Before starting the testing process, make sure that the Opayo by Elavon module has already been configured according to the "Configuring Opayo by Elavon Module for osCommerce 2.3" manual.

Testing Process:

1) Start a Test Purchase

1. Open your website’s front end.

2. Select a product you want to purchase.

3. Click the Add to Cart button.

2) Proceed to Checkout

1. Click the Checkout button.

2. Log in to your existing customer account or create a new one.

3. Select the required shipping method.

4. Click Continue to proceed.

3) Select the Payment Method

1. On the payment page, choose Credit Card / Bank Card (Opayo by Elavon).

2. Click Continue.

4) Confirm the Order

1. Review the order details.

2. Click Confirm Order to proceed to payment.

5) Complete the Test Payment

1. Enter the required test card details in the payment pop-up window.

2. Click Pay with card to complete the transaction.

6) Verify Successful Payment

After a successful payment, confirm that you are redirected to the order success page.

7) Check the Order in Admin Area

1. Log in to the admin area of your website.

2. Navigate to Orders.

3. Locate the newly created order and open it.

4. Review the order details to verify the payment method and transaction information.
