Testing Opayo Server by Elavon Module for osCommerce 2.3 on Front End

This manual explains how to test the Opayo Server by Elavon payment module on the front end of your osCommerce 2.3 website to ensure that checkout and payment processing work correctly.

Before starting the test, make sure the module has been fully configured according to the manual "Configuring Opayo Server by Elavon Module for osCommerce 2.3".


Testing Process:

1) Start the Checkout Process

1. Open your website on the front end.

2. Select a product you want to purchase.

3. Click Add to Cart.

4. After adding the product to your cart, click Checkout to proceed.

2) Complete Customer and Shipping Steps

1. Log in to an existing customer account or create a new one.

2. Select the required shipping method.

3. Click Continue to proceed to the payment step.

3) Select Opayo Server Payment Method

1. Choose Credit Card or Bank Card (Processed by Opayo) (opayo_server; Test) as the payment method.

2. Click Continue.

4) Confirm Order and Enter Test Payment Details

1. Review the order details.

2. Click Confirm Order.

3. Select the required credit card type.

4. Enter the test card information as prompted.

5. Click Confirm card details.

6. Click Pay the required amount now.

7. Enter the required word and click Next.

5) Verify Successful Payment

After successful payment processing, confirm that you are redirected to the success page indicating the order has been created.

6) Verify Order in Admin Area

1. Log in to the admin area of your website.

2. Navigate to Orders.

3. Locate the newly created order and open it.

4. Review the order details to verify the payment method and transaction information.
