Testing Opayo Server by Elavon Module for osCommerce 2.2 on Front End

This user guide provides instructions for testing the functionality of the Opayo Server by Elavon module on the front end of your osCommerce 2.2 website. Please ensure that you have already configured the module according to the instructions provided in the manual "Configuring Opayo Server by Elavon Module for osCommerce 2.2" before proceeding with the testing.

Testing Process

1) Add a Product to the Cart

1. Open your website on the front end.

2. Select any product available for purchase.

3. Click Add to Cart.

4. Click Checkout to proceed to the checkout process.

2) Log In or Create a Customer Account

1. Sign in using an existing customer account

or

2. Create a new customer account if you are a new user.

3) Select a Shipping Method

1. Choose one of the available shipping methods.

2. Click Continue to proceed to the payment step.

4) Select the Opayo Payment Method

1. On the payment page, select

Credit Card or Bank Card (Processed by Opayo) (opayo_server; Test).

2. Click Continue to move to the order confirmation page.

5) Confirm the Order

1. Review the order details.

2. Click Confirm Order to continue to the payment page.

6) Enter Test Payment Details

1. Select the required credit card type from the available options.

2. Enter the test card details in the provided fields.

3. Click Confirm card details to proceed.

4. Click Pay the required amount now to initiate the test transaction.

7) Verify Successful Payment

1. After the payment is processed successfully, verify that you are redirected to the order confirmation page.

2. Confirm that the page indicates the order has been completed successfully.

8) Verify the Order in the Admin Area

1. Log in to the admin area of your website.

2. Navigate to Customers → Orders.

3. Locate the order you have just placed.

4. Open the order to review its details.

5. Verify that the payment method and transaction information are displayed correctly.

By completing these steps, you confirm that the Opayo Server by Elavon module is working correctly on the front end and that customers can successfully complete payments during checkout.
